Collection: Jérôme Galaup

For four generations, winemaking has been a cherished tradition within the Galaup family. Despite the deep-rooted history, the young and dynamic Jérôme Galaup has embraced an open and curious spirit since taking over the family estate in 2017. Prior to this, he honed his skills at the Plageoles estate, acting as a bridge between Robert, the guardian of indigenous grape varieties, and Bernard, and later, between Bernard and his sons.

Situated on the edge of the Grésigne forest in the Tarn region, the appropriately named "La ferme du Vert" (The Green Farm) is where the Galaup legacy thrives. Here, the rich tapestry of the local dialect is still spoken, reflecting a commitment to preserving cultural heritage. Jérôme Galaup, surrounded by a picturesque landscape and his herd of cows, maintains a deep connection to his roots while firmly anchoring himself in the present.

Cultivating seven hectares of grape varieties characteristic of Gaillac, Jérôme ensures that each vine is a true reflection of the historic terroir. His farming wisdom, rooted in the traditions of the land, combined with his bold and intuitive winemaking techniques in the cellar, result in wines that captivate and leave an indelible mark on those who experience them.

Jérôme Galaup's commitment to preserving the authenticity of his terroir, coupled with his daring approach to winemaking, creates wines that are anything but ordinary. His wines, nurtured by the spirit of the land and crafted with a keen understanding of both tradition and innovation, stand as a testament to the seamless blend of heritage and modernity with a healthy dose of Jérome's personality.
